Hotel Derby - Zermatt

The Hotel Derby offers a very central location on the main street of Zermatt, 50 metres from the train station and the Gornergrat Railway and a 5-minute walk from the Sunnegga Cable Car. Free WiFi is available.

The rooms in the main building are furnished in chalet-style with a lot of wood, and the rooms in the Residence Bellevue building were renovated in winter 2014. Each unit comes with a minibar, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom. The property also offers apartments with a fully equipped kitchen. Most rooms have a balcony.

The restaurant features a terrace and serves Italian and international cuisine, as well as flambé dishes. We grant our hotel guests a 15% discount in our restaurant.

The Klein-Matterhorn Cable Car and the Schwarzsee Lake can be reached by bus (included in the ski pass) or on foot in just a few minutes from the Derby Hotel. Shops can be found around the Hotel Derby and a tennis court is a 1-minute walk away. Hiking and biking trails start at the doorstep.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:30 and ends at 10:00.

You can park your car in Täsch (indoor parking) and continue to Zermatt by train or taxi.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Twin Room Arve Plus 2. Room with a private bathroom and a balcony. Kindly note that the double room Arve plus 2 has 1 double bed with two mattresses (90 x 200 each) and 1 bunk bed (80 x 190). This bed is more suitable for our younger guests. ;
Twin Room - Residence Bellevue. These units are located in the House Bellevue, only 15 metres from the Hotel Derby. Rooms have bathrooms with shower only ;
Three-Bedroom Apartment - Residence Bellevue. This apartment comes with a balcony, a well-equipped kitchen and a TV. It also features a bathroom and a fireplace. This unit is located in the House Bellevue, 15 metres from the main building. ;
One-Bedroom Apartment with Sofa Bed - Residence Bellevue. This apartment features a balcony, a bedroom, a living room and a kitchen with a stovetop and kitchenware. ;
Familyroom Arve. This quadruple room features a balcony, private entrance and soundproofing. Kindly note that the family room Arve consists of one twin room with two mattresses (90 x 180) and one queen size bedroom (140 x 200) and one bathroom with shower. ;
Double Room Single Use Arve. This single room has a balcony, flat-screen TV and soundproofing. Kindly note that this twin room for sole use has a bathroom with shower only.
